Clover handoff

This page is for the person who will use the Clover register after someone else set it up.

Handoff means you can sign in, ring a sale, and take a card without the person who set up the register standing there.

Same stuck moment that turns into a support ticket. Short steps and a video so you do not have to ping the builder.

Steps

On the Clover device, sign in with the passcode your manager gave you. The account owner is the person who can sign in at clover.com.
Open Register and tap the items in the sale. Some devices use a Sale screen where you type the amount instead.
Tap Pay. If the button says Charge, tap that.
The customer inserts, swipes, or taps the card. Follow the screen if it asks for a PIN or a signature.
Choose Print, Email, or Text for the receipt, then tap Done.

Button names move a little between devices. If a label is not on your screen, stay with the sale, the Pay or Charge button, and the receipt choices.
