DoorDash handoff
This page is for the person who will run DoorDash orders after someone else set up the store.
Handoff means you can sign in, see a new order, and accept it without the person who set up the store sitting there.
Same stuck moment that turns into a support ticket. Short steps and a video so you do not have to ping the builder.
Steps
- Sign in to the Merchant Portal at merchants.doordash.com, or open the store tablet, with the store login.
- In the portal, open Orders. Active orders are in progress. Scheduled orders are for later. History is finished. On the tablet, a new order pops up.
- To accept an order on the tablet, tap the order, check the prep time, and tap Confirm. If Auto-confirm is on, the order is already accepted.
- The menu lives in the portal under Menu, then Menu Manager. Change an item there. Do not add a special or a price on this page.
If a label is a little different, stay in Orders for the tickets and in Menu for the items.
Write this down
- The email that owns the merchant login.
- The store name.
- Who to call if an order will not clear.
- Do not write the password on this page.
